I received a BSc in Physics from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta. Elizabeth Olamide Akinola is an innovative educator whose goal is to help elevate students and English language enthusiasts into gaining English mastery in the four levels of English studies: Writing, Reading, Speaking and Listening. She is the creative mind behind Master Your Diction with Liz and the impactful "Learn One Word, One Day" Initiative, empowering individuals to excel in English language proficiency. With eleven years of experience, a degree in English Studies from Olabisi Onabanjo University (2018), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from FCE, Abeokuta (2021), Elizabeth has mentored over 500 students in the Use of English and prepared over 20 students for international and national exams. She has worked with WAEC and NECO exam bodies as English language and Literature-in-English examiner for five years now. She also has four years experience tutoring IELTS, TOEFL and SAT. Driven by her passion for linguistic excellence, Elizabeth aims to contribute to reforming Nigeria's English curriculum, having witnessed firsthand the need for improvement through her IELTS experience. I am a professional and energetic tutor with over five years experience tutoring students of all ages in Mathematics and the Sciences, and posess in-depth knowledge of both the Nigerian and British curriculum in addition to the necessary skills needed to help students pass a range of exams based on both curriculums. I have a strong academic background; BSc in Biochemistry coupled with professional education in statistics. My creative teaching style has produced successful results for a large percentage of my students regardless of their varying levels of learning ability. Hi! I am Uyiosa Nelly, an English and Literature Education graduate from the University of Benin, with an added professional certification in Communication Strategies For A Virtual Age from the University of Toronto, and another in Scriptwriting and Art Business from Terra Academy For The Arts. I am passionate about young people and specialize in teaching them to learn English both as a first language and as a second language. I taught English as a Second Language (ESL)  to students of various cultural and linguistic backgrounds during my one year service to my country. Before stepping into this role, I earned my B.Ed. certification in English and Literary Studies and have about nine years experience in teaching students and preparing them for both national and international exams in English, Literature and Creative Writing, using different curricula. During my service year, I was one of those awarded the NYSC Public Relations Award of Meritorious Service for my contributions to aiding learning of English as a second Language and improving overall written and spoken English in Northern Nigeria, and in recent times, I have been awarded as an Over Achiever and Diligent tutor. I have always been passionate about the reading and writing culture and have represented my High School at different English and Literature competitions, bringing home laurels each time. As a tutor, I have a strong desire to help students improve and excel in their academics, even if that area of their academics is a struggle to them at first. My focus is to dissect and explain complex information and help teach students to think critically about problems and how to solve them while helping them better comprehend their course material. Although there is no guarantee for your received grades, as a successful exam relies on independent work and personal effort as well as tutoring, each of my English Language and Literature students for the last four years have recorded grades higher by at least two grades in their final exams.
