An idiom is an expression whose meaning cannot be arrived at by giving a definition to the individual words that makeup the expression. To understand it, the words must be learnt as a whole unit.

  14. To run amok- To become mad
  15. To have a finger in every pie- To have many business interests
  16. A square peg in a round hole- To put a person or thing in a wrong position
  17. A herculean task- An almost impossible task
  18. To eat one's heart for someone- To long for
  19. To make bricks without straw- to do things without the necessary materials
  20. To keep one's head above water- To stay out of financial difficulty or debt.
